OK...I bought/downloaded Office 2007 to my laptop and I have a key. I want to
use the key on my desktop. What are the steps to do this?

I have reviewed lots of questions on here already and cannot find the answer.

Thanks...Thomas

Hi Thomas,

First, check how many PCs you are entitled to install the software on, and their configuration. Different editions have different
conditions. Then, provided it's allowed, install and follow the prompts.

Yes, yes, yes, it's allowed on up to 3 computers. But every time I ask
someone HOW to do it, they keep saying "make sure it's allowed and then
install it."

Ahhhhhhh!!!

I have a key. Where do I pull up the little screen to start the install
wizard? When I downloaded the first copy, it pulled up the wizard. Easy. But
on the second machine, where do I start???

Thanks...

Hi Thomas,

Where did you save the original installation files? You'll need to copy those onto, say, a USB stick, then insert that into the PC
and run the SETUP.EXE file. If you didn't save the original installation files, you'll need to go through the download process again
(this time, preferably on the new PC - and save them first, instead of just running the installation process) before you can install
on the new PC.
