Hi
I have to type Minutes at work and I do so using Tables - one column for the
item number, one for the items and the last one for the initials of people
who have to carry out actions. I use one row per main item but within eadh
item there could be 20 paragraphs. Each paragraph could have initials next to
it in the third column. Having separate rows for every single paragraph and
having to go back in and delte the unneeded border lines would be very
tedious. It's easy lining up the action initials with the relevant paragraph
but when I sent it to the Chair for approval, if she makes amendments to the
paragraphs the action initials then don't line up and it's a very long-winded
process to go back through a 4 to 6 page document to rejig all of that. Is
there some way of 'linking' the initials so that they stay with the paragraph
they relate to so that even if new text is entered they will stay with the
(for example) last line of that paragraph? (In WordPerfect you used to be
able to do this). Any ideas?!! Thank you.
