My Access 2007 does not perform as originally (for example, there is no
longer a way of reaching the macro builder for built-in macros). I suspect
this may be due to remnants of old Office suites as well as the Office 2003
suite that is in use. What is the most effective way to clean out all
versions of Office and Access before re-installing?

Hi Ken,

The only proper way to uninstall MS Office is via the Windows Control Panel ('Add/Remove Programs' or 'Programs and Features',
depending on which version on Windows you're using).

Thanks, Macropod, for the advice but I'm afraid the Add/Remove procedure
isn't sufficient. I've tried that twice and after re-installing Office 2003
and Access 2007 the Access still misbehaves. There must be some remnant left
somewhere.

I have a similar problem. Bought laptop with Vista and Office 07 "Trial
Version" installed. I uninstalled 07, but when I install Office 03 I keep
getting the "Licensing Agreement" pop up window every time I open the
programs , even though I click "Accept."

Hi Ken,

I don't see why you believe some remnant of Office 2003 and/or Access 2007 remained after uninstalling whichever suite/program it
was (or both). In what sense does Access misbehave?

If, as seems to be the case, you're running both Office 2003 and Access 2007, the issue may be to do with the way you're doing the
installation. Did you instal Office 2003 first? And how was Access to 2207 installed - as an Office 2003 upgrade or as a parallel
installation?
