EXCEL 2000

Suddenly I am unable to load/open EXCEL 2000, as it is looking to configure
Microsoft Office 2000 and then asking me to insert the "Microsoft Office 2000
Professional" disk. I then cancel out of this and get the following error
message "Error 1706. No valid source could be found for product Microsoft
Office 2000 edition. The Windows installer cannot continue"

Can anyone help....
